KS2 have had a fantastic day exploring worship in different faiths. We explored the beliefs of people who follow Christianity, Hinduism and Islam and considered the challenges they may face when they worship. Da iawn pawb!

KS2 had a fantastic afternoon attempting to break the Guinness World Record for Curly Wurly stretching. Unfortunately, none of us managed to break the record of 4.26m; our winner was a fantastic 1.98m long!

KS2 have had a fantastic day at the Lego Discovery Centre, Birmingham. Thanks to everyone who came with us and made it such a brilliant experience!

To launch our new topics ‘I like to move it!’ and ‘Incredible Inventions’, KS2 held a super STEM day. We used our knowledge of science, technology, engineering and maths to solve a series of problems upsetting Mr Faulkner! He was really pleased with our creative solutions. Da iawn pawb!

Children in KS2 have been thinking about ‘connections’. After learning about and creating the sounds of the London Underground, we created poems using metaphor and presented them in the style of a tube map. Inspired by Banksy, we created artwork with a message; encouraging people to connect in person and with the outdoors, instead of through screens!

As part of our travel themed topics, 3/4P, 4/5SL and 6J joined together to celebrate all things aeronautical. We learnt about the history of flight, investigated the disappearance of Amelia Earhart and created loop gliders, investigating which would fly the furthest. Finally, we collaborated on a Da Vinci inspired flying machine mural! Take a look…
