Eisteddfod 2019

In the last week of this half term we celebrated our Eisteddfod. In a very closely fought contest, Warden (red) narrowly beat the other houses to claim the Eisteddfod cup for this year.

The Gayle Davidson cup for the child/children with the most individual points was also awarded.

Weatherman Walking visit July 2017

We’ve had a very exciting visit in Presteigne Primary School this morning. The BBC visited to film part of their ‘Weatherman Walking’ TV series starring Derek Brockway. The show will be aired in February and features Tom Davies, a former pupil and teacher at our school.

Awe and Wonder: Science July 2017

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our St David’s Day concert. The children were excellent and performed Welsh songs, poems and told the story of St David. Here are some of the children in their Welsh outfits.
