5P and 6J joined together to take part in the BBC Live Lessons Terrific Scientific! We had great fun finding out about how we taste food and investigating how many tastebuds we have!
Who are we?
The Digital Wizards are a pupil voice group who meet on a Tuesday. We learn new digital skills which enable us to be ‘digital leaders’ in our classroom.
One of our new jobs this year is to be ‘App Reviewers’. We look at new apps on the iPads and review them to help teachers and pupils decide on the best apps to use in class!
Check back regularly to read our reviews!

Dosbarth 2C Autumn 2016
To kick-start our ‘Fighting Fit’ topic we had a lovely morning exploring Stapleton Castle. Mr Griffiths told us lots of interesting facts and we all enjoyed our tour of the castle site. Back in class we designed these stunning shields.
We love learning Welsh in 2C and created these fabulous ‘Dyma Fi’ books for our Welsh display.
Can you tell Who’s Who in our portrait gallery? This was a challenging task!
We are currently in the middle of a ‘Rich Task’. Mrs Cook set us the challenge of planning and hosting a medieval banquet. So far, we have researched banquets using the school iPads, designed menus and costed up the ingredients needed for our feast. We still have to write invitations, design the table decorations and make all the yummy food! This task is helping us to develop a wide range of literacy, numeracy and digital competence skills.
What a busy term we are having!
