As part of our topic Incredible Inventions, Year 6 have been learning about bacteria and medicines. We made our own ‘blood smoothies’ and discovered how our blood fights infections!

Lego Discovery Centre Mehefin 2019
KS2 have had a fantastic day at the Lego Discovery Centre, Birmingham. Thanks to everyone who came with us and made it such a brilliant experience!

We have been busy painting our favourite minibeast.
It has been interesting learning all about insects and their homes.
Eisteddfod 2019
In the last week of this half term we celebrated our Eisteddfod. In a very closely fought contest, Warden (red) narrowly beat the other houses to claim the Eisteddfod cup for this year.
The Gayle Davidson cup for the child/children with the most individual points was also awarded.

Hay Festival Mai 2019
Years 5 and 6 have had a fantastic day at the Hay Festival; celeb spotting and being inspired by some incredible authors.
